Why Thickness Changes How a Bath Mat Feels

Does the memory foam flatten over time?
It compresses when you stand on it and recovers once you step off — that is how memory foam works. Washing it occasionally helps the pile and the foam keep their loft. Avoid leaving heavy furniture standing on it for long periods, as that is what causes a permanent dent.
