    Description & Features

A light blue bath mat covered in soft chenille bobbles

Hundreds of little chenille bobbles packed tight across the surface in a pale powder blue, so the whole mat looks like a field of tiny clouds and feels like one underfoot. Water disappears into it the moment you stand on it. Three bonded layers: the bobbled surface, a technical fibre layer that moves the moisture down and lets it evaporate, and a hot-melt anti-slip base that sits flush against the floor.

    Features

    Sizes 40 x 60 cm and 50 x 80 cm (15.7 x 23.6 in and 19.7 x 31.5 in)
    Colour Light powder blue
Surface Dense chenille bobbles, absorbs on contact
Middle layer Technical fibre, spreads moisture to evaporate
Base Hot-melt anti-slip, lies flush to the floor
Construction Woven as one piece, holds its shape
    Safety Zero formaldehyde, no odour

Why bobbles beat a flat pile

Each bobble is a closed loop of chenille with a lot of surface area and air around it. That means water is taken up fast and then has somewhere to go — air moves between the bobbles, so the mat dries rather than staying cold and damp underfoot. A dense flat pile holds water at the surface and takes far longer to recover between showers. The loops also do not shed, so nothing comes away on wet feet.

A hot-melt base rather than a glued one

Most backings are glued on, and glue is what fails: the layers separate, the corners lift, and the mat starts sliding. A hot-melt base is bonded into the mat itself, so there is no seam to come apart and the whole thing sits completely flat on tile. It also means the backing survives washing rather than cracking and flaking into the drum.

    FAQ

    Will the bobbles go flat?
They compress when you stand on them and spring back as they dry. To keep them full, wash cool with no fabric softener, air dry flat rather than tumble drying, and give the mat a shake once it is dry.

    Which size should I choose?
40 x 60 cm is the compact option — in front of a basin, in an en-suite, or in a small bathroom. 50 x 80 cm is the standard UK bath mat size and the one to pick if it is the only mat in the room.

    Care instructions

    Washing:

    • Machine wash your bath mat at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle, or hand wash, to protect the fibres and keep the colours vibrant.
    • Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the non-slip backing.
    • Wash your bath mat separately to prevent colour transfer.

    Drying:

    • Air drying is recommended to preserve the shape and texture of your bath mat.
    • If tumble drying is necessary, use a low heat setting only.
    • Avoid drying your bath mat in direct sunlight to minimise fading.

    Assistance:

    • For specific care advice or help with stubborn stains, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We'll be happy to help you keep your bath mat in perfect condition.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our bath mats.

Yes. All our bath mats feature a non-slip backing designed to grip securely on tiles, laminate and vinyl flooring. For the best grip, place your non-slip bath mat on a clean, dry floor and check the backing regularly.

Most of our bath mats are machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and air dry to protect the non-slip base. Full details are in the care instructions above.

It depends on your space. A small bath mat (around 40 x 60 cm) suits compact bathrooms and en-suites, a standard mat fits most bathrooms, while a large bath mat or extra large bath mat works best in front of walk-in showers, double sinks or freestanding baths. Check the dimensions listed on each product page.

Bath mats are designed to sit outside the bath or shower to absorb water and protect your floor. If you need a mat for inside the shower or bathtub, choose a rubber shower mat with suction cups instead.

Our absorbent bath mats are made to soak up water fast and dry quickly between uses. To speed up drying, hang your mat over the bath or a towel rail after use and keep your bathroom ventilated.

We recommend washing your bathroom mat once a week, or every two weeks with light use. Regular washing prevents moisture build-up, keeps the fibres fresh and extends the life of your mat.
