An extra long bath mat with a whole ocean printed on it
There is a blue whale, three turtles, a swordfish, a very pleased-looking octopus, two jellyfish and a pufferfish that appears to have had a shock — plus coral, seaweed and a starfish or two hiding in the corners. It runs almost the full length of the tub, so there is no bare enamel for small feet to slip on, and the raised white dots scattered across the print are grip points rather than bubbles. Suction cups underneath hold it down.

Something to look at while they are being washed
Bath time goes a lot more smoothly when there is something to find. Counting the turtles, spotting the tiny fish behind the seaweed, arguing about whether the pufferfish is happy or terrified — it buys you the two minutes you need to get shampoo out of someone's hair. And because the mat covers most of the tub floor, they can shuffle about and sit down wherever they like without hitting a slippery patch.
Getting the suction cups to hold
Rinse the tub first so there is no soap or bath oil film, then wet both the tub and the underside of the mat before laying it down. Press firmly from the middle outwards until the cups bite. Bath oils and bubble bath are the usual reason a mat stops sticking — if it starts lifting, give both the mat and the tub a proper wash. On a tub with a textured or non-slip base the cups will not grip, and that is the surface rather than the mat.
FAQ
Is it safe to leave a baby on it?
It is made without BPA or phthalates and the surface is smooth to the touch, but no bath mat replaces supervision. A child in the bath should always have an adult with them.
How do I stop it going mouldy?
Lift it out after every bath and hang it over the side of the tub or a rail to dry. Mould grows in the water trapped between a mat and the tub, so the mat that dries out both sides stays clean.

Washing:
- Machine wash your bath mat at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle, or hand wash, to protect the fibres and keep the colours vibrant.
- Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the non-slip backing.
- Wash your bath mat separately to prevent colour transfer.
Drying:
- Air drying is recommended to preserve the shape and texture of your bath mat.
- If tumble drying is necessary, use a low heat setting only.
- Avoid drying your bath mat in direct sunlight to minimise fading.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our bath mats.
Yes. All our bath mats feature a non-slip backing designed to grip securely on tiles, laminate and vinyl flooring. For the best grip, place your non-slip bath mat on a clean, dry floor and check the backing regularly.
Most of our bath mats are machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and air dry to protect the non-slip base. Full details are in the care instructions above.
It depends on your space. A small bath mat (around 40 x 60 cm) suits compact bathrooms and en-suites, a standard mat fits most bathrooms, while a large bath mat or extra large bath mat works best in front of walk-in showers, double sinks or freestanding baths. Check the dimensions listed on each product page.
Bath mats are designed to sit outside the bath or shower to absorb water and protect your floor. If you need a mat for inside the shower or bathtub, choose a rubber shower mat with suction cups instead.
Our absorbent bath mats are made to soak up water fast and dry quickly between uses. To speed up drying, hang your mat over the bath or a towel rail after use and keep your bathroom ventilated.
We recommend washing your bathroom mat once a week, or every two weeks with light use. Regular washing prevents moisture build-up, keeps the fibres fresh and extends the life of your mat.
