    Description & Features

A moroccan tile bath mat with twelve patterns in one oval

Twelve square tile panels in black on cream, each one with its own motif — rosettes, lattices, stars, scrollwork — laid out inside a thick black oval border. It has the look of a zellige floor photographed from above, and the oval shape keeps it from reading as a slab: no corners to curl, no hard lines to fight the curve of a bath or basin. Four bonded layers underneath do the work.

Four layers, each doing one job

The top surface is soft underfoot and takes water on contact. Below it, an absorbent layer pulls that water down and away from your feet. Under that, a regenerated sponge spreads it across the mat so it evaporates instead of pooling in one damp patch. And at the bottom, a natural rubber base grips the floor and stops anything soaking through. It is why a mat this thin handles a full shower without feeling wet on top.

Why black and cream works anywhere

It is the one palette that does not need the rest of the bathroom to agree with it. Against white tile it is graphic; against dark cabinetry it ties the room together; next to brass or chrome it looks equally deliberate. The busy tilework also hides the marks a bathroom floor produces far better than a plain pale mat, so it keeps looking sharp between washes.

    FAQ

Is it a flat mat or a cushioned one?
Lightly cushioned. The sponge layer gives enough softness to be comfortable to stand on, but the whole thing stays low enough to clear a bathroom door and to lie completely flat on tile.

    How do I clean it?
Wipe or rinse the surface and leave it to dry flat. Keep it away from heat — a hot radiator or a tumble dryer hardens the rubber base and can lift the edges of the oval.

    Care instructions

    Washing:

    • Machine wash your bath mat at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle, or hand wash, to protect the fibres and keep the colours vibrant.
    • Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the non-slip backing.
    • Wash your bath mat separately to prevent colour transfer.

    Drying:

    • Air drying is recommended to preserve the shape and texture of your bath mat.
    • If tumble drying is necessary, use a low heat setting only.
    • Avoid drying your bath mat in direct sunlight to minimise fading.

    Assistance:

    • For specific care advice or help with stubborn stains, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We'll be happy to help you keep your bath mat in perfect condition.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our bath mats.

Yes. All our bath mats feature a non-slip backing designed to grip securely on tiles, laminate and vinyl flooring. For the best grip, place your non-slip bath mat on a clean, dry floor and check the backing regularly.

Most of our bath mats are machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and air dry to protect the non-slip base. Full details are in the care instructions above.

It depends on your space. A small bath mat (around 40 x 60 cm) suits compact bathrooms and en-suites, a standard mat fits most bathrooms, while a large bath mat or extra large bath mat works best in front of walk-in showers, double sinks or freestanding baths. Check the dimensions listed on each product page.

Bath mats are designed to sit outside the bath or shower to absorb water and protect your floor. If you need a mat for inside the shower or bathtub, choose a rubber shower mat with suction cups instead.

Our absorbent bath mats are made to soak up water fast and dry quickly between uses. To speed up drying, hang your mat over the bath or a towel rail after use and keep your bathroom ventilated.

We recommend washing your bathroom mat once a week, or every two weeks with light use. Regular washing prevents moisture build-up, keeps the fibres fresh and extends the life of your mat.
