    Description & Features

A non slip bath mat for elderly users that washes their feet too

Two foot-shaped bristle panels and a pumice stone set into the surface, so the whole job — washing the soles, working between the toes, taking the hard skin off the heels — happens standing upright. No bending, no balancing on one leg on a wet floor.

The heel is the part that gets left

Hard skin builds on the heels and it's the hardest place on the body to reach when bending and balance are difficult. The pumice sits proud of the mat at one end, so you rest your heel on it and rock the foot — a few seconds each side while the water runs. The two bristle panels do the soles and between the toes at the same time. It's a small thing that quietly removes one of the more awkward parts of washing.

Grip on both faces, and honest about what it is

The suction cups underneath bond to a smooth tray or bath base and hold while the water is running; the nubs on top break the film of water between the surface and your sole, which is what actually causes a slip. Both halves matter — a mat can sit perfectly still and still let a foot skate across it. That said, this is a slip-prevention aid and not a support: it won't take weight the way a grab rail does, so if getting in and out is the difficult part, fit a rail as well. See the rest of our non slip bath mats, or our grey bath mats for the mat that goes outside.

    FAQ

Will the suction cups hold on my bath?
They need a smooth, non-porous surface — standard acrylic and enamel baths and stone resin trays are ideal. They will not grip a textured anti-slip bath base or a tiled wet room floor with grout lines. Wet the cups first and press the mat down from the centre outwards.

Is the pumice too rough for thin skin?
Use it briefly and only on the heel, where skin is thickest, and stop as soon as it feels sensitive. If the skin on your feet is fragile or you have reduced sensation, use the bristle panels only and leave the pumice alone.

    Care instructions

    Washing:

    • Machine wash your bath mat at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle, or hand wash, to protect the fibres and keep the colours vibrant.
    • Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the non-slip backing.
    • Wash your bath mat separately to prevent colour transfer.

    Drying:

    • Air drying is recommended to preserve the shape and texture of your bath mat.
    • If tumble drying is necessary, use a low heat setting only.
    • Avoid drying your bath mat in direct sunlight to minimise fading.

    Assistance:

    • For specific care advice or help with stubborn stains, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We'll be happy to help you keep your bath mat in perfect condition.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our bath mats.

Yes. All our bath mats feature a non-slip backing designed to grip securely on tiles, laminate and vinyl flooring. For the best grip, place your non-slip bath mat on a clean, dry floor and check the backing regularly.

Most of our bath mats are machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and air dry to protect the non-slip base. Full details are in the care instructions above.

It depends on your space. A small bath mat (around 40 x 60 cm) suits compact bathrooms and en-suites, a standard mat fits most bathrooms, while a large bath mat or extra large bath mat works best in front of walk-in showers, double sinks or freestanding baths. Check the dimensions listed on each product page.

Bath mats are designed to sit outside the bath or shower to absorb water and protect your floor. If you need a mat for inside the shower or bathtub, choose a rubber shower mat with suction cups instead.

Our absorbent bath mats are made to soak up water fast and dry quickly between uses. To speed up drying, hang your mat over the bath or a towel rail after use and keep your bathroom ventilated.

We recommend washing your bathroom mat once a week, or every two weeks with light use. Regular washing prevents moisture build-up, keeps the fibres fresh and extends the life of your mat.
