Embossing rather than printing

Will the embossed pattern flatten out?
Not with cool washing and air drying. Heat is what relaxes an embossed pile back towards flat, so keep it out of the tumble dryer and off hot radiators.
How long does it take to dry?
The velvet face dries quickly, but the foam core holds moisture and needs air. Hang it over the bath after use rather than leaving it flat on the floor and it's dry by evening.
