    Description & Features

A bath slip mat long enough to cover the whole tub

Most in-bath mats stop at around 70 cm, which covers where you stand and leaves the rest of the bath bare — including the part you slide down onto when you lie back. At 101 cm this one runs almost the full length of a standard UK bath.

    Features

    Size 101 x 40 cm (40 x 16 in)
    Suction cups 200
    Surface Pebble dome texture
    Drainage Holes throughout
Shaped end Cut away to clear the waste and overflow
Materials Phthalate free, BPA free, no chemical smell
    Colours Grey, cream

    Length is the safety feature

Standing up is only half of when people slip in a bath. The other half is lowering yourself down and getting back up, where your feet travel forward along the base — past the end of a short mat and onto bare acrylic. A mat that runs the length of the tub keeps grip under your feet through that whole movement, which is the argument for this over a standard one and the reason it suits anyone unsteady.

    200 cups and a cut-away end

Spreading the hold across 200 cups means no single one is carrying much load, so the mat stays flat from end to end rather than lifting at a corner when you shift your weight. The end is shaped around the waste and overflow so the mat sits flush against the bath rather than bunching over the fittings — a small detail that decides whether it lies properly or not. Made without phthalates or BPA, which matters on something that spends its life in hot water. See the rest of our non slip bath mats, or our large bath mats for the floor mat that goes outside.

    FAQ

Will it hold in my bath?
It needs a smooth, non-porous surface — standard acrylic and enamel baths are ideal. It will not grip a textured anti-slip bath base. Wet the cups first and press the mat down from the centre outwards, working the air out as you go.

How do I clean a mat this size?
Rinse it under the shower after use and hang it over the side of the bath. Every couple of weeks, peel it up and scrub the suction side with warm soapy water — on a long mat that's where residue builds unnoticed.

    Care instructions

    Washing:

    • Machine wash your bath mat at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle, or hand wash, to protect the fibres and keep the colours vibrant.
    • Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the non-slip backing.
    • Wash your bath mat separately to prevent colour transfer.

    Drying:

    • Air drying is recommended to preserve the shape and texture of your bath mat.
    • If tumble drying is necessary, use a low heat setting only.
    • Avoid drying your bath mat in direct sunlight to minimise fading.

    Assistance:

    • For specific care advice or help with stubborn stains, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We'll be happy to help you keep your bath mat in perfect condition.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our bath mats.

Yes. All our bath mats feature a non-slip backing designed to grip securely on tiles, laminate and vinyl flooring. For the best grip, place your non-slip bath mat on a clean, dry floor and check the backing regularly.

Most of our bath mats are machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and air dry to protect the non-slip base. Full details are in the care instructions above.

It depends on your space. A small bath mat (around 40 x 60 cm) suits compact bathrooms and en-suites, a standard mat fits most bathrooms, while a large bath mat or extra large bath mat works best in front of walk-in showers, double sinks or freestanding baths. Check the dimensions listed on each product page.

Bath mats are designed to sit outside the bath or shower to absorb water and protect your floor. If you need a mat for inside the shower or bathtub, choose a rubber shower mat with suction cups instead.

Our absorbent bath mats are made to soak up water fast and dry quickly between uses. To speed up drying, hang your mat over the bath or a towel rail after use and keep your bathroom ventilated.

We recommend washing your bathroom mat once a week, or every two weeks with light use. Regular washing prevents moisture build-up, keeps the fibres fresh and extends the life of your mat.
