Measure along the curved front edge of your tray, from one side of the opening to the other — that is the figure to compare against the 100 cm or 140 cm. The 100 x 40 cm suits a standard 800 or 900 mm quadrant; the 140 x 60 cm is for a larger offset quadrant or a curved walk-in. The band is 30 cm deep at its narrowest on both, which is enough to stand on with both feet.
Quilted rather than tufted
The surface is stitched into separate pillows, so the padding cannot migrate towards the ends of the curve — which is exactly what happens to a plain padded mat of this shape after a few washes, leaving it thick in the middle and flat where you actually step. How do I wash it?
Cool wash, no fabric softener, air dry flat. Heat damages the PVC base, so keep it out of the tumble dryer and off radiators. Shake it out once dry to bring the quilting back up.
