    Description & Features

A blue and white bath mat with rust fringes at either end

Broad navy and cream stripes running on the diagonal, finished with short rust-coloured fringes along two edges — an unexpected third colour that stops the whole thing looking like a deckchair. The stripes are tufted rather than printed, so the navy is deep and the cream stays properly cream, and the pile is dense enough to be soft underfoot and to take a soaking without feeling wet on top.

    Sizes 50 x 80 cm and 60 x 90 cm (19.7 x 31.5 in and 23.6 x 35.4 in)
Material 100% polyester, felt fluff pile
Design Tufted diagonal stripes with fringed ends
Colours Navy and cream with rust fringes
Absorbency High, soaks up water quickly
Backing Dotted PVC, non-slip and floor-safe
    Feel Soft dense pile underfoot

Navy and cream, which is harder to get wrong than most

It is the safest strong colour combination there is for a bathroom — dark enough to hide marks, classic enough not to date, and it works with chrome, brass, white tile and wood equally well. The rust fringes are what lift it out of the obvious: a navy and cream mat on its own is nautical, and a third warm colour drags it somewhere more interesting.

Tufted, so the stripes stay sharp

A printed stripe on a pile surface blurs as the fibres move — usually within a month. Here every band is worked in its own dyed yarn, so the colour runs all the way to the backing and the line between navy and cream stays clean. It also means the navy cannot wear pale in the spot where everyone stands.

    FAQ

    Will the fringes tangle?
Comb them straight with your fingers while the mat is still damp after washing and they dry flat. A gentle cycle in a mesh bag keeps them tidiest, and no fabric softener — it weighs the fibres down.

Will the navy run onto the cream?
Wash it cool, on its own for the first couple of cycles, and never with bleach. That is standard for any mat with this much contrast, and after a few washes the dye settles.

    Care instructions

    Washing:

    • Machine wash your bath mat at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle, or hand wash, to protect the fibres and keep the colours vibrant.
    • Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the non-slip backing.
    • Wash your bath mat separately to prevent colour transfer.

    Drying:

    • Air drying is recommended to preserve the shape and texture of your bath mat.
    • If tumble drying is necessary, use a low heat setting only.
    • Avoid drying your bath mat in direct sunlight to minimise fading.

    Assistance:

    • For specific care advice or help with stubborn stains, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We'll be happy to help you keep your bath mat in perfect condition.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our bath mats.

Yes. All our bath mats feature a non-slip backing designed to grip securely on tiles, laminate and vinyl flooring. For the best grip, place your non-slip bath mat on a clean, dry floor and check the backing regularly.

Most of our bath mats are machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and air dry to protect the non-slip base. Full details are in the care instructions above.

It depends on your space. A small bath mat (around 40 x 60 cm) suits compact bathrooms and en-suites, a standard mat fits most bathrooms, while a large bath mat or extra large bath mat works best in front of walk-in showers, double sinks or freestanding baths. Check the dimensions listed on each product page.

Bath mats are designed to sit outside the bath or shower to absorb water and protect your floor. If you need a mat for inside the shower or bathtub, choose a rubber shower mat with suction cups instead.

Our absorbent bath mats are made to soak up water fast and dry quickly between uses. To speed up drying, hang your mat over the bath or a towel rail after use and keep your bathroom ventilated.

We recommend washing your bathroom mat once a week, or every two weeks with light use. Regular washing prevents moisture build-up, keeps the fibres fresh and extends the life of your mat.
