    Description & Features

A bath mat for the tub, sized for a narrow base

At 34 cm wide this fits the flat base of a standard UK bath without riding up the curved sides — which is where wider mats lose their suction and start lifting at a corner. The scrub panel sits in one end, out of the way until you want it.

    Features

    Size 34 x 68 cm (13.4 x 26.8 in)
    Thickness 0.8 cm (0.31 in)
Surface Dense massage nubs with a textured foot-scrub panel
    Drainage Holes throughout
    Underside Suction cups
    Colour Grey

Width is what makes a bath mat hold

Bath bases are narrower than they look and they curve up at the sides. A mat cut too wide sits partly on that curve, where the suction cups have nothing flat to bond to — so it holds at the centre and peels at the edges. This one is deliberately narrow enough to stay on the flat, which is a duller selling point than the number of cups and matters considerably more.

Nubs, drainage and a scrub panel in one

The raised nubs break the film of water between the base and your sole, which is the actual mechanism behind a slip. The holes between them let water through to the bath rather than trapping a film underneath, so nothing sits against the acrylic. And the finer textured panel at one end lets you scrub the soles of your feet standing up instead of bending down in a wet bath. See the rest of our non slip bath mats, or our grey bath mats for the absorbent mat that goes outside.

    FAQ

Will the suction cups hold on my bath?
They need a smooth, non-porous surface — standard acrylic and enamel baths are ideal. They will not grip a textured anti-slip bath base. Wet the cups first and press down from the centre outwards.

How do I keep it clean?
Rinse it under the shower after use and hang it over the side of the bath. Every couple of weeks, lift it out and scrub the suction side with warm soapy water — that's where residue collects on any suction mat.

    Care instructions

    Washing:

    • Machine wash your bath mat at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle, or hand wash, to protect the fibres and keep the colours vibrant.
    • Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the non-slip backing.
    • Wash your bath mat separately to prevent colour transfer.

    Drying:

    • Air drying is recommended to preserve the shape and texture of your bath mat.
    • If tumble drying is necessary, use a low heat setting only.
    • Avoid drying your bath mat in direct sunlight to minimise fading.

    Assistance:

    • For specific care advice or help with stubborn stains, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We'll be happy to help you keep your bath mat in perfect condition.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our bath mats.

Yes. All our bath mats feature a non-slip backing designed to grip securely on tiles, laminate and vinyl flooring. For the best grip, place your non-slip bath mat on a clean, dry floor and check the backing regularly.

Most of our bath mats are machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and air dry to protect the non-slip base. Full details are in the care instructions above.

It depends on your space. A small bath mat (around 40 x 60 cm) suits compact bathrooms and en-suites, a standard mat fits most bathrooms, while a large bath mat or extra large bath mat works best in front of walk-in showers, double sinks or freestanding baths. Check the dimensions listed on each product page.

Bath mats are designed to sit outside the bath or shower to absorb water and protect your floor. If you need a mat for inside the shower or bathtub, choose a rubber shower mat with suction cups instead.

Our absorbent bath mats are made to soak up water fast and dry quickly between uses. To speed up drying, hang your mat over the bath or a towel rail after use and keep your bathroom ventilated.

We recommend washing your bathroom mat once a week, or every two weeks with light use. Regular washing prevents moisture build-up, keeps the fibres fresh and extends the life of your mat.
