It is the kind of small, silly thing that genuinely improves a morning: you step out of the shower, look down, and the floor is being kind to you. Everything is worked in yarn rather than printed, so the letters stand proud of the pink and stay that way.

Features

Sizes

50 x 80 cm and 60 x 90 cm (19.7 x 31.5 in and 23.6 x 35.4 in)

Design

Tufted bubble lettering with a scalloped cloud edge

Colours

Pink with white

Surface

Soft dense tufted pile, breathable

Backing

Dotted non-slip, wear resistant and floor-safe

Edges

Scalloped and bound

Tufted letters, not printed ones

Lettering is the hardest thing to print onto a pile surface — the fibres move, the edges go fuzzy, and within a month the words look like they have been through a wash too many. Here every letter is worked in white yarn at a slightly different height from the pink, so you can feel them underfoot and the edges stay as crisp as the day it arrived.

The wavy edge matters more than you would think

A rectangle with a joke printed on it is a novelty mat. The cloud-shaped outline turns it into an object — it reads as a shape on the floor rather than a sign, which is why it still looks good in a bathroom you have otherwise decorated properly. It also means no sharp corners to curl up and catch a toe.

FAQ

Will the white letters stay white?
Cool wash with like colours, no bleach, no fabric softener, air dry flat. Wash it on its own for the first couple of cycles so the pink does not bleed into the lettering — after that it behaves like any coloured mat.

Is it soft enough to stand on?
Yes. The pile is dense rather than thin, so it is comfortable underfoot and takes water off wet feet quickly. Give it a shake after washing and the tufting lifts straight back up.

See more of these in slogan bath mats, or browse more in this colour in pink bath mats.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1046/3733/3847/files/S2420530a9aba4e7a83ddb569615a8fde4.webp?v=1791291661
