l-shape-woven-bath-mat
L shape woven bath mat

A woven bath mat cut into an L to wrap around your shower

Square mats leave a wet strip of floor down one side of the shower, and that strip is where everyone slips. This one turns the corner: two arms of 45 cm meeting at a right angle, so it follows the outside of a corner enclosure and catches the water wherever you step out. The surface is a flat black and white weave with a plain black border, and the backing is rubber so it holds still on tile.

Features

Sizes

75 x 75 cm and 120 x 120 cm (29.5 x 29.5 in and 47.2 x 47.2 in)

Arm width

45 cm (17.7 in) on both sizes

Shape

L shape, right angle

Colour

Black and white weave with a black border

Surface

Flat woven texture, absorbent

Backing

Rubber, non-slip and moisture-proof

Wear

Stain resistant, built for daily use

Placement

Around the outside of a corner shower enclosure

Measuring before you order

Measure along the two outside edges of your enclosure, not the inside of the tray. The 75 x 75 cm suits a standard 800 or 900 mm corner shower; the 120 x 120 cm is for a larger enclosure or a wet room corner where you want more dry floor to move around on. The arms are 45 cm wide on both, which is enough to stand on squarely with both feet — if your door opens outward, check it clears 45 cm of mat before it swings.

A flat weave rather than a pile

The low flat surface is the right call for a mat this shape. A thick pile would bunch at the inside corner and catch under a shower door; a flatweave lies properly flat all the way round and slides under a door with room to spare. It also dries far quicker than a deep pile, which matters on a mat that sits right where the water lands. The black and white weave hides the marks that a plain light mat shows within a week.

FAQ

Does it go inside the shower?
No, this one sits outside the enclosure, on the bathroom floor. It is a textile mat with a rubber backing, not a drainage mat — for inside the tray you want a suction cup or slotted mat instead.

Can I wash it?
Wash it cool and air dry it flat. Heat is what damages a rubber backing, so keep it out of the tumble dryer and off a hot radiator, and it will stay flexible and keep gripping.

See the bigger sizes in large bath mats, or browse more in this colour in black bath mats.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1046/3733/3847/files/Sf533aafd6bfd49ba954414e583b762e4H.webp?v=1790080337
